It's a month today...It's no easier today than it was last month. As hard as it was to watch the suffering, I'd go back in a second to be able to sit with you again. The shock may have worn off, but the sadness runs deeper as time goes by. Forever is too overwhelming to think of without seeing or talking to you, so I can only take it day by day...but, that is hard enough. I took a lot for granted and now I'm finding that I appreciate what I didn't appreciate and of course it's too late. You always accepted me for me. I wish I could have told you I appreciated that.
