Emma M. Chencinski, devoted wife, loving grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at her son's residence in Chester at the age of 84. She was the daughter of the late Felice DiLeo and Concetta Buonaguro DiLeo and was born December 18, 1925 in the Bronx. Emma was the widow of John DiMeglio and Theodore R. Chencinski.

She was a member of the Golden Seniors Club of Chester and a parishioner of St. Anastasia Parish Church in Harriman.

Survivors include her sons Gerald DiMeglio and his wife Vera of Chester, NY, John DiMeglio and his wife Theresa of Pueblo, CO, sisters Carmela DaVia of Huntington Beach, CA, Nora Tenneriello of Corona, CA, Ann Petraglia of Tamarac, FL, Lucy Lombardi of Port St. Lucie, FL, five grandchildren Valerie, Daniel, Christa, Nicole and John and one great grandchild, Jakob.

Visitation will be held from 7-9 PM on Saturday, January 23, and from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Sunday, January 24, at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave, Monroe. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 25 at St. Anastasia Parish Church, Route 17M in Harriman. Interment will follow in St. Anastasia Cemetery, Harriman.
