Anna M. Somers, a 16 year resident of Stuart, FL and former 57 year resident of Tuxedo, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Martin Memorial Hospital, Stuart, FL at the age of 73. Anna was the daughter of the late Julia Jones Sandak and Michael Sandak. She was born on November 16, 1936 in Tuxedo, NY.

Survivors include her husband Bernard "Bernie" Somers at home, daughters Julie Ann Squillini of Monroe, NY, Michele Gehrig of Stuart, FL, brother Michael Sandak of Spring Valley, NY, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Monday, January 25, 2010 at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc, 117 Maple Avenue, Monroe. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Sacred Heart Church, 26 Still Road, Monroe. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Tuxedo Park, NY.
