Milton Kalmus, 91, of Monroe, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Goshen. Son of the late Max Kalmus and Rae Feller Kalmus, he was born in New York, NY on December 1, 1918.

Milton was a retired Manager for the Starret Restaurant in New York, NY. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II.

Survivors include his son, Roy Kalmus and his wife Joyce of Monroe, daughter, Joy Aronson and her husband, Charles of Valley Village, CA, grandchildren, Stephen, Gary, Matthew, Nicole and Jamie, great grandchildren, Hailey and Madison.

His funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 12, 2010 at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Avenue, Monroe with Cantor Elena Schwartz officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Saddle Brook, New Jersey.

Visitors will be welcomed at the home of Joyce and Roy Kalmus on Friday and Saturday evening.
