Biography

Attilio E. Pagliaro passed away Friday, January 13, 2012 at his home in South Blooming Grove, NY. Son of the late Attilio and Mary Cieri Pagliaro, he was born April 14, 1927 in Manhattan, NY.

Attilio was a retired Fireman with Ladder 32 in Bronx, NY. He was a parishioner and usher with St. Anastasia Church, Harriman, NY and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during World War II. His children & grandchildren were Poppy's world.

Survivors include the love of his life, his wife Phyllis Ullrich Pagliaro, at home, his son Arthur E. Pagliaro & his wife Ann of Rock Tavern, NY; daughters: Cathy M. Young & her husband Larry of Chester, NY, Mary G. Feeley & her husband Jim of Wilmington, NC, Nancy A. Goodheart & her husband Richard of West Grove, PA, Phyllis L'Estrange & her husband Tim of Rock Tavern, NY; his brother Dominic Pagliaro of New Smyrna Beach, FL, 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Attilio was predeceased by his daughter Ann Marie and his brother Alfred.

Visitation will be held from 3-7PM on Monday, January 16 at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Avenue, Monroe. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 17 at St. Anastasia Parish Church, Rte 17M, Harriman, NY. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne.
