Linda Anne Conklin

Linda Anne Conklin, a lifelong resident of the area, passed away at her home on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 surrounded by her loved ones. She was 75 years old.
Daughter of the late William Clifford Rogers and the late Ruth Winifred Martin Rogers, Linda was born December 23, 1941 in Goshen, NY. Linda retired as a Chief Operator after 40 years with Highland Telephone Co. of Monroe, and retired after 12 years as a Payroll Clerk with the Monroe-Woodbury Central School District of Central Valley. She was the Treasurer for the 20th year for the Monroe Cheese Festival, a life member of Telephone Pioneers of America, and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Monroe.
Survivors include her loving son, Butch Conklin and his wife Trish of Washingtonville, NY; her brothers: Jim Rogers and his wife Jeanne of Monroe, Rick Rogers and his wife Margaret of Monroe; her sister, Mary Lou Garew of Monroe; her grandchildren: Caitlin and Ciara Conklin, and many nieces and nephews. Linda was predeceased by her brother George C. Rogers. Linda was very proud to be a lifelong resident of Monroe. She took pride in following the several generations before her.
A Memorial Service with visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7th at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Avenue, Monroe NY. A Graveside Service will be private and at the convenience of the family.
