Rosina G. Bentivegna "Rose" January 9, 1931 – March 21, 2021 Highland Mills, NY Rose Bentivegna passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh, NY. She was 90 years old. Daughter of the late Antoinetta Castelluccio and Raffaele Grieco, she was born on January 9, 1931 in Hackensack, NJ. Rose was a receptionist for Tupperware Brands in Paramus, NJ, and a charter member of the Italian-American Club in Manahawkin, NJ. Her grandchildren will always cherish memories of being down the shore, enjoying her excellent cooking (nothing beats an Italian grandma's cooking!), and watching the sunsets on the lagoon. Rose is survived by two children: her son Michael S. Bentivegna and his wife Susan of Coral Springs, FL, and her daughter Nancy Lynn Boyd of Highland Mills, NY. In addition, she is also survived by her sisters: Anna Luppino of Hackensack, NJ; Italia Poveromo of New Milford, NJ; Louisa Monro and her husband M. Edward of Mahwah, NJ; Antoinette Finck and her husband George of Hillsdale, NJ; and by two brothers: Ralph Grieco and his wife Linda of New Milford, NJ; and Stephen Grieco of New Windsor, NY. Rose leaves five grandchildren: Gina and her husband Mike; Jennie, Michael, James and his wife Luciana, and Kevin; along with one great grandchild: Angelina "Gigi", and many, many nieces and nephews. Rose was predeceased by her husband Michael Bentivegna, and by her brothers-in-law: Louis Luppino, George ?Storicks and Sonny Poveromo.
