Obituary of Timothy "Beefy" Stewart

Timothy Stewart

February 7, 1963 - September 25, 2017

Chester, New York


Timothy Stewart, affectionately known as "Beefy" passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 25, 2017.  He was 54 years old.  Son of the late Shelton H. Stewart and the late Catherine Monahan Stewart, he was born February 7, 1963 in Suffern, NY.  Beefy was a Truck Driver for AMH Enterprises of Bridgeville, Delaware.  He was the widower of Patricia M. Hawkes Stewart, who predeceased him in 2008.

Beefy was a devoted husband and father who loved his family and was always willing to help others.  His true passion for over 36 years was being a truck driver who traveled the entire U.S.A.

Survivors include his loving children: Patrick J. Stewart of Chester, NY and his daughter Colleen M. Stewart and her partner Martin Sikorski of Chester, NY; brother, Shelton Stewart and his wife Patricia of Coventry, CT; his sister Deborah Nickerson and her husband Roberto of Huerta, FL; his brother-in-law Fred Hawkes and his wife Jill of Harriman, NY; his sisters-in-law: Jackie Pawlowski of Chester, NY and Laura Valure of Chester, NY, and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his wife and parents, Beefy was predeceased by his brother Martin Stewart and sister Mary Grace Gordon.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Avenue, Monroe, NY 10950.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 2, 2017 at Sacred Heart Church, 26 Still Road, Monroe, NY 10950.

Interment will follow in St. Anastasia Cemetery, Harriman, NY.
