Chester, NY

Caroline M. Coupart passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018 at her home in Chester, NY. She was 77 years old. Daughter of the late James and Mary Mancuso DeStafeno, she was born June 8, 1941 in Goshen, NY.

Caroline was a Secretary with Ed Coupart & Son of Chester, NY. She was a member of the American Legion Orange Blossom Post #1167 Ladies Auxiliary in Chester, NY and St. Columba Church of Chester, NY.

Survivors include her loving husband Jack Coupart, at home; her son Edward Coupart and his wife Noel of Ventura, CA; her daughters: Kimberly Sgandurra and her husband Glenn VanDunk of Campbell Hall, NY, Cynthia Glick and her husband Daniel of Chester, NY; her brother James DeStafeno of Chester, NY; her eight grandchildren: James, Christopher, Jessica, Mallory, Matthew, Austin, Jack, Brianna, and several nieces and nephews. Caroline was predeceased by her brother Joseph DeStafeno.

Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory, Middle Hope, NY. Memorial Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 7th at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Avenue, Monroe, NY 10950. A Chapel Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 8th in the Monroe Funeral Home officiated by Rev. John Bonnici. Interment will follow in Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
