Obituary of Robert Lybolt

Robert J. Lybolt

June 15, 1933-August 4, 2018

Westbrookville, NY

 

Robert J. Lybolt passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Campbell Hall Rehabilitation, Inc., Campbell Hall, NY.  He was 85 years old.  Son of the late Kenneth and Ida Hayden Lybolt, he was born June 15, 1933 in Goshen, NY.

 

Robert was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and member of Mombasha Fire Department.  He was a retired Building Custodian for Highland Telephone Co., of Monroe, NY.  He also worked for Village of Monroe Highway Department, and was the Building Custodian for Monroe Police Department and Monroe Temple.

 

Survivors include his loving wife, Reba Brodsky Lybolt, at home; his daughters: Becky Jane Harty and her husband Arthur of Narrowsburg, NY, Robin J. Lybolt of Milford, PA, Rachael Ellery Lybolt of Bloomingburg, NY; his brothers Kenneth Lybolt of Florida and Richard Lybolt of Texas; his six grandchildren: Samantha, Michaela, AJ, Jessica, James and Jordan; as well as many nieces and nephews.  Robert was predeceased by his brother James and sister Mary.

 

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 9th at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Avenue, Monroe, NY 10950.   Firematic Service will begin at 7:40 p.m. Thursday evening followed by a Prayer Service and Military Honors.  Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory, Middle Hope, NY.
