Obituary of Sister Mildred Scrivano

Sister Mildred Scrivano, CSAC, a member of the Sisters of the Catholic Apostolate (Pallottines) died Monday, October 29, 2018 at Queen of Apostles Convent, Monroe, NY. Sister Mildred was 90 years old. Fighting a long battle with Parkinson's disease, with some good and some bad days, Sister Mildred always had a smile on her face.

Born June 14, 1928 in New York, NY she was the daughter of the late Charles and Carmela Fasanelli Scrivano, and sister of the late Santina Lentini and Mary Scrivano. She began her Religious journey at the age of fifteen. Earning her Master's Degree at Richmond, she served her community and the people of God as a Teacher and Principal. Sister Mildred served as a Religious for 74 years.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, November 4th at Queen of Apostles Convent in Monroe. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 5th at 11:00 a.m. at Queen of Apostles Chapel, 98 Harriman Heights Road, Monroe, NY. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Monroe. May she rest in peace.
