Obituary of Helen Miskura

Helen Miskura

November 13, 2018

Highland Mills, NY

Helen Miskura, 92, cherished and deeply mourned mother of Susan, Nancy and Raymond, mother-in-law of Dennis, grandmother of Andrea Helen, was peacefully released from her long journey with Alzheimer’s disease.

Helen was born into the large, loving family of Thomas and Catherine Bielen in Bayonne, NJ.  She is predeceased by her beloved husband Ignatius, her siblings Stanley, John, Victor, Joe, Frank, Walter, Felicia, Anne and Betty, several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nephews Richard and Erik, and niece Cynthia.  We offer a special remembrance upon Helen's heavenly reunion with Cynthia, and with Ciocia Anna, an aunt for whom she was an extraordinary caregiver.  Helen is survived by her loving sisters Josephine and Dorothy and brother George, sister-in-law Helen, and numerous and devoted nieces and nephews.

Helen’s family is forever grateful to the loving angels and living saints who cared for her for three years in every department at Schervier Pavilion in Warwick, NY, especially her amazing nursing assistants and nurses.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 18th at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc.
