Evelyn L. Aumack passed away Monday, November 26, 2018 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Wallkill, NY. Daughter of the late Frank Mazza and Margaret Meranté, she was born on February 2, 1928 in West Haverstraw, NY. Evelyn was the widow of Warren Aumack. She was a Cafeteria Aid at Monroe-Woodbury Middle School in Central Valley, NY. She was a parishioner of St. Anastasia Church since 1965.
Survivors include her son Thomas Warren Aumack of Westtown, NY; her daughters: Elizabeth Ann Morris and her husband Charles T., Sr., of Burnsville, MN, Laurie Jean Tursi of Middletown, NY; and her five grandchildren: Charles Terry Morris, Jr., David Matthew Morris, David M. Tursi, Thomas Joseph Aumack, and Carly Paige Aumack. She is predeceased by her brother Thomas Mazza; her sisters: Rose Dana, Anne Wanamaker; and her son-in-law David Tursi.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 30th at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Avenue Monroe, NY 10950. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 1st at St. Anastasia Parish Church, Route 17M, Harriman, NY. Interment will follow in St. Anastasia Cemetery.
