Obituary of Kathleen M. Hyde

Kathleen M. Hyde passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, in Newburgh, NY. She was 57 years old. Daughter of Patricia Bautz Hyde and the late Walter Hyde, she was born June 24, 1961 in Bronx, NY.

Kathleen was a Medical Billing Specialist for Ramapo Pulmonary & Medical Associates of West Nyack, and a parishioner of St. Mary's Church of Washingtonville. A family statement reads, "She will be missed by family, friends and colleagues, and was known by many as Aunt Kathy."

Survivors include her mother Patricia Hyde of Ruskin, FL; her brothers: Walter Hyde, Jr. and his wife Janine of Selbyville, DE, John Hyde and his wife Mary of New Windsor, NY, Thomas Hyde and his wife Lora of Salisbury Mills, NY; her sisters: Theresa Baron of Ruskin, FL, Irene Hyde of New Windsor, NY; and her nieces and nephews: Gregory, Walter, Juliann, Lauren, John, Katie, Colleen, Sarah, Thomas, Shannon, Kali, and Nicholas, and her great niece and nephew Leah and Noah. Kathleen was predeceased by her brother James Hyde.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, December 21st at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Avenue, Monroe, NY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 22nd at St. Mary's Church, 42 Goshen Avenue, Washingtonville, NY. Interment will follow in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, NY.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for memorial donations made to Make -A- Wish Foundation Of Hudson Valley, 832 South Broadway, Tarrytown, NY 10591-6602.
