Obituary of Kiyana Johnson-Palma

Kiyana Johnson-Palma August 17, 1975 – July 19, 2020 Monroe, NY Gone But Not Forgotten John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let your heart not be troubled, neither let it be afraid." Kiyana Johnson-Palma received her wings on July 19, 2020. She was born to Mr. and Mrs. Bradsley Johnson on August 17, 1975. She graduated from Academy of Mount St. Ursula in 1993 and went on to pursue an education at Borough of Manhattan Community College, where she obtained her Associate's Degree as a respiratory therapist. She also earned her degree in Business Economics Management at Mercy College. She was pursuing her Bachelor's Degree as a respiratory therapist. She began her career as a respiratory therapist at Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center, and she was also an employee at North Central Hospital. Kiyana was very family oriented, but most of all she was a Daddy's girl until her final moments. Through the course of her journey she met the love of her life, Craig Palma, with whom she united in marriage on May 16, 2009. She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband Craig Palma; two sons: Stanten and Shane Palma; one daughter Breanna Johnson; her parents Kathy and Bradsley Johnson; one brother Bradsley Johnson, Jr. (Jillian); two nieces: Aaliyah and Jay'lah Johnson; and one nephew J'Sean. Kiyana is also survived by her sisters-in-law Jenice Lyons, Latasha Johnson, and Coco Johnson; and her brothers-in-law Brandon Johnson, and Corey Johnson, in addition to a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, 2020 from 11a.m–2p.m., and from 5p.m.–8p.m. at Smith, Seaman, and Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe, NY 10950. A chapel service will begin at 7:30p.m. Burial will take place on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Cemetery of the Highlands, Highland Mills, NY.
