Obituary of Jamie Eric Delinsky

Jamie Eric Delinsky May 16, 1969 – February 2, 2021 Washingtonville, New York Jamie Eric Delinsky passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at his home in Washingtonville, with his loving Mother by his side. He was 51 years old. Son of Frieda Karpoff Delinsky Weinstein & the late Howard Delinsky, he was born on May 16, 1969 in Flushing, New York. After moving to the Bronx and then Monroe in 1977, Jamie attended the Monroe-Woodbury School district, graduating High School in 1987. He remained a proud Crusader till the very end. Jamie was everybody's favorite waiter at La Vera Cucina in Monroe for the many years he worked there and was adored by all of his customers and co-workers. He was an advocate for the Livestrong Foundation and gave support and inspiration to those fighting cancer, all the while, battling the disease, like a warrior himself. He fought bravely for nearly 28 years. He loved and cherished his friends, family and his best pal, his beloved dog Matty and was a loyal and devoted Yankee fan all his life. Survivors include his Mother, Frieda Karpoff Delinsky Weinstein of Washingtonville, NY; his sister Robin Frandino and her husband, Joseph of Monroe, NY; and his nephews: Holden, Austin, and Braden. Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope. Memorial visitation will be held from 12-2pm on Friday, February 19, 2021 at Smith, Seaman and Quackenbush Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe, NY 10950. For those that wish to attend the services, the family requests that you wear your favorite sports attire to truly honor Jamie's love for the game.
