Obituary of Barbara F. Militello

Barbara F. Militello Highland Mills, New York Barbara F. Militello passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Daughter of the late Stanley & Gladys Ziemianski, Barbara was born and raised in the Bronx. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Highland Mills. Survivors include her daughters, Janice Militello of Highland Mills, and Barbara Adamo & her husband Alfred of Washingtonville; brother, James Ziemianski & his wife Annette of Massapequa, NY; and two grandchildren: Stephanie Messenger & Joseph Adamo. Barbara was a loving, caring and selfless person who put everyone before herself. She was dearly loved and liked by everyone she met. Barbara was a devoted mother, grandmother and best friend to her daughters. She enjoyed traveling, going to the beach and walks with Charlie the dog. She was an administrative assistant at Manhattan Savings Bank in New York City and a mortgage loan processor at the Bank of New York in Middletown. Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M. on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 515 Route 32, Highland Mills, NY. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, March 26, 2021 at St. Patrick's Church, 448 Route 32, Highland Mills. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
