Obituary of Angiolina J. Mollo

Angiolina J. Mollo March 27, 1923 – April 17, 2021 Goshen, New York Angiolina J. Mollo passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Sapphire Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Goshen, NY. She was 98 years old. The daughter of the late Rosina and Francesco Pirrotina, she was born on March 27, 1923 in Cremona, Italy. Angiolina was a member of the Monroe Jolly Seniors, as well as Sacred Heart Church in Monroe, NY. Early in her working career, Angiolina was a seamstress in Manhattan, where she met her future husband, Primo (Eddie) Mollo. Angiolina is survived by her daughter, Franca Alle Granza of Genoa, Italy; as well as her niece and caretaker Joanne Accetta of Monroe, NY and niece Angela and husband Dr. Enrico D'Angelo. Angiolina is also survived by great nieces Andrea Accetta of Monroe, NY and Jessica Crispo (John) of Cornwall on Hudson, NY; great nephew Frank D'Angelo (Sarah); great-great nieces Joanna and Halloren and nephew John Cesare, as well as countless friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Primo (Eddie), and her son Ceasare Mollo. Visitation for Angiolina will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 from 10 a.m to 12 p.m. at Smith, Seaman, and Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Avenue, Monroe, NY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 26 Still Road, Monroe, NY, followed by entombment at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Middle Hope, NY. Memorial contributions in Angiolina's name may be made to the Hudson Valley SPCA or any service animal organization.
